Unfortunately, due to Myspace not allowing scripts and their strict privacy policies, no Myspace tracker will work 100% unless both parties are aware and signed up for the same working MySpace tracking program. Myspace tracking websites are not allowed to show you everyone who views your site unless everyone is signed up for the same MySpace profile tracking program. For the users that aren’t using the same tracking program, they show up as an anonymous viewer on your MySpace Tracker stats.

The best free Myspace tracking program is the one with the most users. Since no one trusts Myspace trackers anymore because of all the fakes, it becomes difficult to know which MySpace tracker to use to catch your MySpace stalkers. As more and more people sign up for a MySpace profile tracker, they will become more efficient.

We have also heard rumors about Myspace producing their own tracking program, however, there is no hard evidence of this yet.

A legit Myspace profile tracker only requires you to paste a small HTML code on your profile page for the tracker to work. If you ever run across a Myspace tracker that prompts you to download a program for the tracker to work, we suggest that you do not do it.

The Myspace trackers that require you to download programs for the tracker to work are bogus. They only install spyware and adware to your system that will bombard you with pop-ups and slow down or even crash your computer.

DON’T WASTE MONEY ON A MYSPACE TRACKER

Have you seen a Myspace tracker code that's up for sale on Ebay or other websites? These Myspace trackers claim that it will give you a link to every persons Myspace profile that has been to your site and it costs $8.95, or something similar to this. We do not suggest that you buy this. This type of code is a violation of Myspace's policies and they will block this MySpace profile tracker code as soon as they get a hold of it.

You should never pay for a Myspace tracking code! If you are willing to waste $10 to see who has viewed your site for a week (These codes are usually blocked within a week) then paying for a Myspace profile tracker might be worth your money.

USE MORE THAN ONE MYSPACE TRACKER

For all the skeptics, free MySpace profile trackers really do work, regardless of what people tell you. However, they only work by cross-referencing IP addresses within the Myspace tracker website. This means that you will only be able to see who is stalking your MySpace profile if they are members of the MySpace tracker program that you use to track your profile stalkers.

No one is happy with the results they get from one single free MySpace tracker program. Some days we would be lucky and be able to track one MySpace stalker, the next day we wouldn’t catch anyone. So we figured we would combine MySpace trackers and see how they work and, it proved to be successful. All of the Myspace profile trackers that you see on our site are all running on our profile simultaneously, increasing our chances of catching our stalkers using many different MySpace profile trackers.

MYSPACE TRACKER SETUP

One bad thing about many free Myspace profile trackers is that you have to place a link to their site on your page and possibly with links to other sites before you can start stalking your stalkers with a MySpace tracker. This is how the webmaster funds the Myspace profile tracker site, usually along with other ads from Google or Yahoo. Some of them also force you to post a bulletin before your MySpace tracker is active. If you are have a basic knowledge of html, you can bypass both of these issues.

You don’t ever need to post a MySpace bulletin. At the very least, if you can’t figure out how to bypass it, post the MySpace bulletin and then quickly remove it. Even though you are told that you must post the bulletin, there is no way to track MySpace bulletin posts.

To remove the link back to the free Myspace tracker, look for img src=”xxxxxxx" and remove it from the code. That will take care of the image on your MySpace profile. However, this might affect whether or not the tracker will work to track your MySpace stalkers. If you know about overlays and CSS coding, you can customize your page completely and “cover up” the image instead of removing it guaranteeing that your free MySpace tracker continues to work.

We tested another MySpace tracker that really does work.

The problem with this MySpace tracker, like all the MySpace profile trackers that actually work is that every person on MySpace needs to be signed up to use it for it to work effectively. Everyone on MySpace needs to insert code into their MySpace profile for this MySpace tracker to really work. I had over 800 profile views in two days and only one lonely sole showed up as viewing my MySpace profile. Everyone else showed up as anonymous. If everyone signs up for this MySpace tracker, then we can see who our stalkers are.

This MySpace tracker looks put together very well. They say that they collect infomation that other MySpace trackers have simply "overlooked". The MySpaceWatcher system uses tracking cookies to store non-personally identifiable information for the use of MySpace tracking. This allows us to see who is viewing who, when they are viewing, and who else they have viewed.

We really liked this Myspace profile tracker. It launched in June 2006. They say that they will be adding more features to their system as time goes on. If every other one of their features are put together as well as the MySpace tracker was, then this site is sure to be a hit!

Here is another MySpace tracker for you to add to your list. This profile tracker works like all of the rest we tested by allowing you to view your stalkers if they are also members of the MySpace tracking program.

We didn't care too much for this MySpace tracker because you are only limited to see the last 25 people who viewed your profile. They also have an option which lets you stay hidden from other users, which defeats the purpose of a MySpace profile tracker. The website does hide IP addresses from users which is safer for all of us.

If you are a member of Trakzor.com, you may have received an email about a new tracker that tracks every visitor that goes to your Myspace account. This same website address is on theSpaceTracker.com.

This Myspace tracker claims that it will give you a link to every persons Myspace profile that has been to your site and it costs $8.95. We do not suggest that you buy this. This type of code is a violation of Myspace's policies and they will block this code as soon as they get a hold of it.

Hitslink works on Myspace

The next tracker that we tested is Hitslink. This tracker is a standard website tracker and was not designed specifically for Myspace, but it does work. It is similar to the Myspace tracker MixMap.

Hitslink is a free tracker that gives you “clues” as to who has viewed your site. It displays information of your stalkers including the location (city/state), how many times they stalked your profile, the I.P. address and also the organization that they viewed your site from. That cool option works nicely if someone is stalking your page from their work. For instance, someone who works for Pepsi in Winston Salem, NC is stalking one of our profiles. If we knew someone who works there, then we would know who the stalker is. Unfortunately, this tracker does not give you a link to anyone's Myspace profile. We would say to stick with one of the other trackers that give you a Myspace link.

We tested another tracker and liked the results that we got. It does work like all the other trackers that work. It works by cross-referencing IP’s within the system for people who have signed up for the program. Check it out.

This tracker is one of the best ones that we tested due to the results that we received. Its nice because it gives a direct link to your stalkers Myspace account along with a picture of them. It also displays extensive IP information, even on your anonymous viewers.

We have received emails from some of our readers saying that Myspace trackers “Don’t Work”. I guess that depends on what you mean by not working. The Myspace trackers that we use Do Work!

Unfortunately, Myspace has a strict policy regarding Myspace trackers and they don’t allow users to be tracked unless both parties are aware. Myspace tracking websites are not allowed to show you everyone who views your site unless everyone is signed up for the same tracking program. For the users that aren’t using the same tracking program, they show up as an anonymous viewer.

This is where we come into play. We test the trackers that work so you don’t spend time with the ones that don’t. The best tracking program is the one with the most users. Since Myspace trackers are so new, it makes it difficult to know which ones work the best right now. As more and more people sign up for them, they will become more efficient. We are attempting to find the best tracker for all of us to use.

We have also heard rumors about Myspace producing their own tracking program similar to the one on Friendster. However, there is no hard evidence of this yet. But rest assured. When we get a definitive answer and dates about it, we will post it here.

Nothing more than Bulletin Spam.

Due to a request from one of our readers, we checked out this "so called" tracker site. http://runescapegold.net/myspace . I have seen the link to this site in bulletins. Don't waste your time! This site is nothing more than a link to trakzor.com which we already reviewed.

The site lies to you and tells you that you have to post a bulletin to get the tracker. If you read a little further, you see a link to the profile tracker. When you click that link, it takes you to trakzor.com. You never need to post a bulletin. All their bulletin does is get you to post a link back to their site so that other people see their site, repost their bulletin, and continue bulletin spam. This goes back to the idea of making money using ads which is what this site is based around. When you click on their ads, they get paid.

Wait a minute. Mixmap UPDATE:

As you see in our last post, we gave good reviews to the Myspace tracker called Mixmap. However, we now have mixed feelings about this tracker. It looks like we were lucky for the first couple of days and we had a surge of people who viewed our profile who were members of Mixmap.com. But for the last two days, not one person viewed our site who was a member of this program.

I spent some time with this new tracker, and it seems to work better than all the rest. In a sense, it is a little scary because of how well it really works compared to all the rest. Here it is.

This tracker works like all of the rest. Both users have to be signed up for the the program for you to be able to track who has looked at your sight. Everybody else shows up as an anonymous user. You are able to see the location (city/state) of the anonymous user, see how many times they looked at your myspace, and see the last time they viewed your site. For those people who are users of mixmap, you are able to see the same information as an anonymous user but you also get a link to their myspace profile.

I tested another tracker this week and it worked, but nothing to go out and brag to all your friends about. This tracker works like the other ones that actually work. If someone who uses the tracker checks out your page, then you will be able to see who that was. However, if they don't use the tracker, then they will show up as anonymous. Here it is.

The bad thing about this tracker is that you have to place a link to their site on your page along with links to two other sites. This is how they fund their site, along with the ads on the site from Yahoo. They also force you to post a bulletin before your link is active. If you are good with html, you can bypass both of these issues.

I now have three Myspace trackers on my site working simultaneously. If you sign up for all three for free, then you triple your chances of finding your stalkers. The three are, Trakzor.com, Profilepeep.com, and Whosonmypage.com

Another Myspace Tracker

Here is one that doesn't work at all. We spent an hour getting this one set up and running only to find out that when you get to the end of the sign in process, the website gives you a message saying "MySpace has recently blocked the insertion of the code."
This one took forever to set up because they require you to complete a survey. They say it's a 3 to 5 minute survey but to actually finish it, wait for an email, and answer their questions, it takes a lot longer. They also aske you to enter in a lot of personal information, including your telephone number and address.

Don't even waste your time with this one!

We were at it again this weekend trying to find a Myspace tracker that actually works. We tested a program that is called Profilepeep. Unfortunately, it worked the same way that whosonmypage did. If both people are users of the tracking program, then you will be able to see who is stalking your page, everyone else shows up as anonymous. Check it out

With over 1000 people who checked out our profiles this weekend, only two people showed up as viewing my site. One of those people was stalker type and viewed it three times in a row.

We are on to something. If we combine both whosonmypage and profilepeep then we are able to double the effects of the trackers. However, until everyone signs up for both of the trackers, they aren't really worth it. We do want to let you know that if you load both of these trackers to your profile, Myspace will alter your whosonmypage code. Then when you log into your whosonmypage account, they will tell you that your code has been removed and that you need to re-add it. Don't worry about that! Your code is still there and it still works.

If anyone knows of a tracker that really works, leave a comment and lets find one.

We tested another one that really does work. So here it is.

Another tracker that didn't work!

Here goes another one that does not work.

This "tracker" site only tracks how many unique visitors that you get to your site. Sadly, it seems to do almost the same exact thing as Myspace's "profile views" function.

This one bases around the same similar idea of using ads by Adbrite to fund their site. They use a simple tracking software to track hits to your site but they do not show you who visits your site.

They also host a "popularity contest" where the users try to refer more people to this site that does not work. The users of this monthly contest who place in the top three receive an Amazon.com gift certificate for $20.

Lets look at a few that don't work!

If you look at both of these sites, they both are littered with the little ads. So go ahead, repost these sites and sit there and wait patiently for your link to arrive so that you can see who is looking at your site.

So far, the only trackers that I have found to come close to working, in a sense, are WhosOnMyPage, and ProfilePeep. Both of these programs will track who has been to your site if both you and your stalkers are signed up for the same tracking program. Meaning, you will only see that I have viewed your site if you and I are both users of one of the same particular program.

I am testing to find one that does work, let me know if you ever find one. However, If may work one day, but Myspace usually deletes your code within a couple days!
